LinkedIn Module — Terms of Service
These terms supplement the MyAgentMail Terms of Service; in case of conflict, these terms govern any usage of the LinkedIn module.
1. Scope
The LinkedIn module is an opt-in subscription add-on of MyAgentMail. It exposes API endpoints under /v1/linkedin/* that act on a LinkedIn account whose credentials you provide. By subscribing or using these endpoints, you agree to these terms in addition to the main MyAgentMail Terms.
2. The LinkedIn account is yours
The LinkedIn module operates on a LinkedIn account using credentials that you (or the end-user on whose behalf you act) supply through our API. We do not own that LinkedIn account. The account is governed by LinkedIn's User Agreement. You are solely responsible for compliance with LinkedIn's terms, including their rules on automation, third-party access, and acceptable use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the LinkedIn module only for legitimate outreach to people who have a plausible reason to hear from you (existing customers, prospects in your ICP, people who have publicly engaged with your content or competitors, etc.). You will not:
- Send connection requests or messages at industrial scale unrelated to genuine outreach.
- Scrape profile or post data for resale, lead-database compilation, or training datasets.
- Impersonate another person or business.
- Operate accounts that you are not authorized to operate.
- Use the module to harass, defraud, or deceive recipients.
- Circumvent LinkedIn's rate limits, account bans, or security controls.
4. Quotas and rate limits
Each subscription tier publishes a per-session daily action quota. We enforce that quota server-side; LinkedIn may impose stricter limits on its end and we will not be responsible for LinkedIn-side throttling, account flags, restrictions, or bans that occur as a consequence of your usage. We strongly recommend operating well below the published quota.
5. Credential storage and security
LinkedIn session cookies (li_at, JSESSIONID) are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We do not return cookies via API once stored. You can revoke any stored session at any time via DELETE /v1/linkedin/sessions/:id. We retain session metadata (label, status, lastUsedAt) plus an audit log of actions for up to 12 months for abuse investigation and billing.
6. Service availability and stability
The LinkedIn module reverse-engineers undocumented LinkedIn endpoints. LinkedIn may change those endpoints, response shapes, or anti-automation defenses without notice, which can reduce or eliminate the module's functionality, sometimes for extended periods. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the module working, but make no uptime or feature-availability guarantees. We may suspend or remove specific endpoints at any time without prior notice.
7. LinkedIn's actions against your account
If LinkedIn flags, restricts, suspends, or terminates a LinkedIn account that has been used through the module, that is between you and LinkedIn. We are not party to your relationship with LinkedIn, cannot reverse LinkedIn-side actions, and are not liable for losses (commercial, reputational, or otherwise) caused by such actions.
8. Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the LinkedIn module immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you are violating these terms, LinkedIn's User Agreement, or applicable law; or if your usage materially threatens the integrity or availability of the module for other customers. We will refund unused, prepaid time for the LinkedIn add-on following termination unless the termination is for cause.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The LinkedIn module is provided "as-is" and "as-available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the module will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained through the module will be accurate or reliable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the LinkedIn module — including any LinkedIn-side action against your account — will not exceed the fees you paid for the LinkedIn add-on in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim (including from LinkedIn, recipients of your outreach, or regulators) arising from your use of the LinkedIn module, including breaches of these terms or LinkedIn's User Agreement.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
