Namecheap DNS setup

Operations

Adding records to a Namecheap-managed domain.

  1. Log into Namecheap. Go to Domain List and click Manage on your domain.
  2. Click the Advanced DNS tab.
  3. Under Host Records, click Add New Record for each record:
    • TXT Record for DKIM — use the selector as the host, the full value in the Value field, TTL Automatic.
    • CNAME Record for the bounce handler.
    • MX Record — Namecheap asks for priority and destination separately; enter 10 and mail.myagentmail.com.
  4. Namecheap's free DNS typically propagates within 30 minutes.
